Recently, the 24th batch of multipurpose engineering units, construction engineering units, and medical detachments that went to Lebanon for peace were assessed successively by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon headquarters and passed the first comprehensive capability assessment since the troops were deployed to the mission area. A special evaluation team composed of key personnel from the seven business departments of the UNIFIL Command went deep into each unit to carry out comprehensive inspection and evaluation work. Through listening to work briefings, checking software data, random inquiries, and on-site inspections, etc., the ability of the troops to carry out the mission was comprehensively tested. After strict and meticulous verification, the evaluation team assessed that all three teams had met all assessment standards, had the ability to carry out various tasks assigned to them by the United Nations, and gave high recognition to our construction results.
