The Zhitong Finance App learned that Chinese electrolytic copper foil manufacturer Londian Wason New Energy Tech (Londian Wason New Energy Tech) announced its initial public offering (IPO) terms on Monday. The company plans to issue 3.6 million American Depositary Shares (ADS) at a price of $20 to $22 per share, raising approximately $75 million. Existing investors Harvest Global Capital Investments, Hithium Global, and other investors have indicated their intention to subscribe for ADS worth $50 million, $7 million, and $30 million respectively. Based on the midpoint of the proposed issue price range, the company's market capitalization will reach approximately $1.6 billion.
Longdian Huaxin, headquartered in Shenzhen, is an electrolytic copper foil manufacturer. Its products are key materials for lithium-ion electric vehicle batteries, electric energy meters and energy storage systems. In terms of production capacity and market share, the company has grown into one of the world's largest producers of lithium battery copper foil, operating several production sites in China and building a new plant in Malaysia.
Its products include high-performance lithium battery copper foil, electronic circuit foil (RTF and HVLP) and flexible copper-clad plates, which are widely used in electric vehicle batteries, 5G communications, consumer electronics and energy storage. Customers cover major global battery companies such as CATL (CATL), BYD (BYD), LG Energy Solution (LG Energy Solution), Samsung SDI (Samsung SDI), and Panasonic (Panasonic).
The company was founded in 2001 and achieved revenue of approximately US$1.6 billion in the 12 months ending December 31, 2025. Longdian Huaxin plans to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the stock code “FOIL”. Cantor Fitzgerald, Huatai Securities, CMB International, American Tiger Securities, Futu Securities (Hong Kong), and VC Brokerage acted as joint bookkeepers for this offering. Pricing is expected for the week of August 10, 2026.
