Travis Perkins Posts Higher H1 Attributable Profit; Revenue Slips

Profit attributable to owners of the company for the six months ended June 30 was 30.3 million pounds sterling, compared with 26.4 million pounds earlier. EPS moved to 0.141 pound from 0.124 pound. The building materials group's revenue was 2.26 billion pounds, compared with 2.30 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board recommended an interim dividend of 0.04 pound per share, payable Nov. 6 to shareholders on record Oct. 2. It paid 0.045 pound per share a year ago.
