02:06 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Roche (RO.SW) and its partner Nurix Therapeutics enrolled the first patient in a late-stage clinical trial to evaluate bexobrutideg as a potential treatment for certain blood cancer patients. The phase 3 DAYBreak CLL-306 study is expected to recruit 620 patients with relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma who were previously treated with a Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor, according to a Tuesday release. It is the first late-stage trial for bexobrutideg. The study will assess bexobrutideg's potential superiority relative to the current standard of care pirtobrutinib, with objective response rate and progression-free survival as dual primary endpoints.
