Bayer Logs Higher H1 Net Income; Revenue Edges Down

01:50 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bayer (BAYN.F) said Tuesday that its net income for the first half increased, while revenue declined slightly year over year. Net income after tax attributable to stockholders for the six months ended June 30 was 2.98 billion euros, compared with 1.1 billion euros a year earlier. EPS moved to 3.04 euros from 1.12 euros. The German drugmaker's net sales were 24.28 billion euros, compared with 24.48 billion euros a year ago. The company adjusted its full-year projections based on closing exchange rates as of June 30. It expects sales of between 44.7 billion euros and 46.7 billion euros, compared to the previous guidance of 44.5 billion euros to 46.5 billion euros. The core EPS guidance was adjusted to a range of 4.20 euros to 4.70 euros from a range of 4.10 euros to 4.60 euros.
