On August 4, Boeing published an article stating that the Boeing 737-7 has been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration. “This milestone marks that the longest flight 737MAX family member has passed strict design and testing verification, and is also a recognition of the determination and tenacity of our 737 MAX R&D team.” Boeing said, “The forensic program included more than 1,000 hours of flight and ground tests, as well as safety analysis supervised by the Federal Aviation Administration. This airworthiness approval means we can deliver the first 737-7 aircraft to the airline.”
