Typhoon No. 13 of this year, “White Dolphin,” formed on July 27. As of 8:30 this morning, its center is located about 1,560 km east of Naha City in the Ryukyu Islands. The maximum wind near the center is 15 degrees, which is a strong typhoon level. The Central Meteorological Observatory has now determined that typhoon “White Dolphin” has two main paths that may affect our country: one possibility is that the East China Sea will move westward towards the coast south of the Yangtze River estuary, and land from the mouth of the Yangtze River to the northern coast of Fujian around the 9th. Another possibility is to move northerly in the East China Sea, towards the mouth of the Yangtze River or the coastal area north of the Yangtze River, and land or cross the Yangtze River estuary to the coastal area of the Shandong Peninsula from the 10th to the 11th.
