Storage module manufacturer Shiquan Technology's second-quarter revenue was NT$7.588 billion, down 16.11% from the previous month, up 66.18% year on year, and net profit after tax was NT$2,412 billion, up 5.14% month on month and 21827% year on year. Shiquan said that global AI infrastructure construction is driving massive storage demand. Major original DRAM manufacturers are actively expanding production capacity, but it is still difficult to effectively mitigate the imbalance between supply and demand in the short term, and the most severe shortage period is expected to fall in the first half of 2027.
