The Office of the National Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief Commission and the Ministry of Emergency Management dispatched a task force to check the disaster situation on the ground in response to the torrential rain and flood disaster in Shaanxi and the impact of a new round of continuous heavy rainfall, and assist and guide the local authorities to do a good job in disaster relief. According to the needs of disaster relief work in the disaster area, together with the State Food and Material Reserve Administration, 65,000 pieces of central disaster relief materials, such as tents, folding beds, blankets, and family emergency kits, were distributed to Shaanxi to support the local authorities to properly carry out disaster relief, rescue and safe haven relocation and resettlement work for people affected by the disaster.
