Zhitong Finance App News, Dragon Resources (01712) issued an announcement. The company is pleased to announce that it has obtained the final test results of three underground diamond core drilling projects recently completed at the Jokisivu Gold Mine (Jokisivu) in southern Finland. It includes:

The 20 drilled holes and a length of 2,246.10 meters were carried out at 305 m, 320 m and 335 m levels for the Osmo upper market area (2026 Arpola-4).

Seventeen boreholes and a length of 2562.30 meters were carried out at 375 m, 400 m and 420 m levels for the Osmo Upper Pan basin tectonic zone (2026 Arpola-5).

The project, with 6 drilled holes and a length of 324.90 meters, was carried out at a level of 320 meters for the deep lower surface area of Arpola (2026 Arpola-6).

These projects have obtained a series of high-quality samples, successfully identified the extended range of mineralization in the Arpola target area, and provided the company with further data on the size and morphology of high-grade ore veins. Sample highlights of such projects include:

2026 Arpola-4 measured 4.00 meters long 5.18 g/ton of gold at 127.30 meters of HU/JS-1562; 2.60 meters long 16.87 g/ton of gold at 72.70 meters drilled in HU/JS-1563; measured 5.40 meters long 6.21 g/ton of gold at 101.00 meters drilled in HU/JS-1567; measured 9.25 meters long and 4.43 g/ton of gold at 114.85 meters drilled in HU/JS-1568.

2026 Arpola-5 measured 2.30 meters long 9.95 g/ton of gold at 16.70 meters of HU/JS-1571; obtained 5.20 meters long 26.43 g/ton of gold at 25.20 meters of HU/JS-1577 drilling; 1.65 meters long and 14.01 g/ton of gold at 148.65 meters drilled in HU/JS-1579.

2026 Arpola-6 measured 3.30 meters long 6.24 g/ton of gold at 33.00 meters of HU/JS-1602; 3.65 meters long 11.39 g/t gold measured at 22.35 meters of HU/JS-1603; 1.85 meters long and 11.30 g/ton of gold at 37.15 meters drilled in HU/JS-1604.

The Jokisivu gold mine is located 180 km northwest of Helsinki, the capital of Finland, and about 40 km southwest of the company's Vammala plant in southern Finland. It forms part of the Vammala production center wholly owned by Dragon Resources. The production center includes the Vammala plant (a traditional facility with an annual processing capacity of 300,000 tons and integrating crushing, refining and flotation), the Jokisivu gold mine in operation, the Kaapelinkulma gold mine, which stopped open pit mining in April 2021, the Orivesi gold mine, which stopped mining in June 2019, and the Uunimäki gold project.

The Jokisivu deposit is a structurally controlled orogenic gold deposit system located within the ancient Proterozoic Vammala mixed rock zone. It includes two groups of major parallel mines of varying thickness and grade, Kujankallio and Arpola, which are 200 meters apart. Both mines are located in the west-northwest shear zone where the amphiite penetrates the body. Shear bands are characterized by laminated, squeezed, and expanded quartz veins and well-developed moderately inclined threads. Gold mineralization is contained in quartz veins and shear zones, and occurs in barren parent rocks.

Drilling shows that gold mineralization in the Kujankallio region extends vertically over 710 meters from the surface, while gold mineralization in the Arpola region extends vertically over 480 meters from the surface. The Jokisivu deposit remains unclosed in terms of depth and direction.

Open pit mining in Jokisivu began in 2009, while underground mining began in 2011. As of December 31, 2025, Jokisivu's underground excavation had been extended to a depth of 645 meters, and approximately 3.7 million tons of gold grade ore had been extracted through open pit mining and underground operations.
