The appointment of Delahunty, who is the president of the company's UK electricity transmission, is part of a new and simplified operating model the company unveiled Monday to boost accountability and improve performance, among other reasons, according to a same-day filing. The company also reduced the size of its group executive committee to eight members from 13, effective Sept. 1.
