The maximum rainfall was 192 mm at Nongxincun Station, Dongyue Township, Guang'an District, Guang'an City. Heavy rainfall caused 8 geological disasters, including 3 in Yibin City, 2 in Ziyang City, 2 in Meishan City, and 1 in Guangyuan City. There were no casualties. Preventive measures have been taken locally. Sichuan Province transferred people threatened by geological disasters ahead of schedule and successfully escaped 5 geological disasters. A total of 12 people were prevented from being killed or injured as a result of the disaster. As of 7:00 p.m. on August 3, a total of 40,249 safe-haven people had been transferred early in 20 cities and 83 counties in Sichuan within 24 hours. So far, since the flood began, a total of 92,058 safe havens have been transferred early in Sichuan Province.
