Fosun Pharmaceutical (600196.SH): PD-L1 antibody-conjugated drug HLX43 approved for clinical trials

Zhitong Finance App News, Fosun Pharmaceutical (600196.SH) issued an announcement. Recently, the company's holding subsidiary Shanghai Fuhong Hanlin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and its holding subsidiary (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Fuhong Hanlin”) received approval from the State Drug Administration to inject HLX43 (i.e. targeted PD-L1 antibody conjugate drug, hereinafter referred to as “HLX43”) combined with or without bevacizumab for the treatment of advanced/metastatic solid tumors. Fu Hong Hanlin plans to conduct relevant clinical research on this treatment plan in China after conditions are met.

The HLX43 involved in this treatment plan is an antibody conjugation drug (ADC) targeting PD-L1 developed by Fu Hong Hanlin using a licensed novel DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor small molecule toxin-peptide chain ligand with an antibody targeting PD-L1 developed independently. It is intended to be used to treat advanced/metastatic solid tumors.
