The Zhitong Finance App learned that recently, Paradigm officially signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. According to the agreement, SPD Bank will provide intentional financing support of RMB 3 billion to Paradigm, focusing on core technology areas such as AI computing power infrastructure construction, heterogeneous chip cluster deployment, and underlying computing power architectures to support the two sides to jointly build a high-quality and scalable AI computing power base.
This cooperation is a further upgrade since the two sides established a bank-enterprise partnership in 2023. In the future, the two sides will carry out comprehensive cooperation in the fields of direct financing, international business, investment banking and supply chain finance, and jointly set up a bank-enterprise strategic cooperation group to coordinate the subsidiary units and branches of the two sides to promote the phased implementation of specific cooperation projects.
At an exchange symposium held at SPD Bank's headquarters, Paradigm founder Dai Wenyuan introduced Paradigm's full-stack layout in the field of AI cloud services and the strategic logic of the two parties to jointly build a “token factory.” He said that as competition in the AI industry accelerates from algorithm models to computing power supply, supply chain stability, and large-scale delivery capabilities, computing power is becoming the core production material for the AI industry.
This 3 billion yuan of intentional financing support will focus on fields such as the construction of paradigm heterogeneous chip clusters and the development of underlying computing power architectures, providing financial guarantees for the continuous growth of core products such as HAMI and ModelHub, as well as cutting-edge businesses such as API and Agentic AI, and further consolidating the foundation for long-term technology development and large-scale expansion of the paradigm.
Both sides believe that AI cloud services are an important direction for the development of new quality productivity. This cooperation not only reflects financial capital's continued investment in AI infrastructure construction, but is also expected to further open up collaborative links in “technology, industry, and finance.”
In the future, the two sides will also rely on the paradigmatic AI computing power ecosystem and SPD Bank's supply chain finance system to extend services to upstream and downstream computing power enterprises and explore a computing power industry finance ecosystem covering technology research and development, infrastructure construction, business development, and industrial collaboration.
