Taiyo Yuden said in the letter: “In response to the recent rise in material prices, we have done our best to cut costs. The current situation is such that the company's own efforts alone cannot fully cover it. We submitted a price adjustment request last month, but it has not been fully accepted, so we applied again for price adjustments for some products shipped by our company starting September 1.” Regarding the supply situation after the price increase, Taiyo Yuden said that the company is currently unable to handle everything, making it difficult to complete it according to the delivery schedule. Even with this price adjustment, on-time delivery cannot be guaranteed.
