GlaxoSmithKline plans to establish a new large-scale global R&D center at the Cambridge Biomedical Park in the UK, and will invest £400 million over three years to support the project. The new park covers an area of 300,000 square feet and will host more than 1,000 GlaxoSmithKline scientists. The park will support research in the fields of oncology, respiratory diseases, hepatology, vaccines, and HIV.
