On Monday, Nvidia's credit default swap (CDS) price recorded its biggest one-day increase on record. According to reports, Nvidia is promoting AI infrastructure-related cooperation with a total scale of over 750 billion US dollars. The analysis points out that as Nvidia simultaneously plays multiple roles in the AI industry chain, such as a chip supplier, investor, and financing supporter, the market continues to pay attention to the financing model in AI infrastructure construction because of the circular nature of such agreements.
Alibaba-W (09988) had a net sale of HK$374 million. CNOOC (00883) had a net sale of HK$501 million. Macquarie published a research report. It is expected that CNOOC's profit for half a year may fall short of market expectations, mainly due to the expansion of discounts between its crude oil price and Brent futures, as well as potential impairment effects. The bank predicts that the Group's net profit for the first half of the year will be 83.9 billion yuan, an increase of 21% year-on-year. The bank maintained CNOOC's “outperforming the market” rating and lowered the target price by 2% to HK$17.5 from HK$17.8 to reflect weak oil price achievement and higher impairment assumptions.
In addition, Tencent (00700), SMIC (00981), and Huahong Hongli (01347) received net sales of HK$513 million, 682 million and HK$884 million respectively.
