Rift Helium Targets First Well Drilling at Tanzania Project in H1 2027

05:04 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rift Helium (RIFT.L) is aiming to drill the first well in its two-well exploration drilling campaign at the Upepo project in Tanzania in the first half of 2027. The primary helium supplier said Tuesday that the environmental impact assessment process is now in the final stages, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2026, to be followed by 3D seismic acquisition. An updated independent resource assessment is anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.
