AlphaValue/Baader Europe Lifts Estimates for STMicroelectronics Post-Q2 Results

04:43 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe boosted its earnings forecasts for STMicroelectronics (STMMI.MI, STMPA.PA) as part of a model update to integrate the European semiconductor manufacturer's second-quarter results. "We have increased our revenue growth estimates for STMicro given its growth in the AI business with its strategic customer," according to a Monday note. "We continue to maintain our [long-term] growth model, and as our base revenue and EBITDA margins for FY 28E [have] been revised upwards, we have also raised our DCF-derived valuation." For the second quarter, STMicroelectronics reported net revenue of $3.49 billion, US GAAP net income of $222 million and EPS of $0.24. As such, the research firm's full-year 2028 revenue estimate now stands at $18.5 billion, up from the previous assumption of $17.5 billion. For 2026, analysts project sales of $14.22 billion, operating profit of $1.35 billion and adjusted attributable net profit of $1.14 billion. AlphaValue/Baader Europe has an add rating on the stock, with a price target of 58.20 euros.
