Recently, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement stating that in response to the application of Mexican producers Deacero, S.A.P.I. de C.V., and Ternium México, S.A. de C.V., it has initiated a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation against steel wire rods originating in China. The dumping investigation period in this case was from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, and the damage investigation period was from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2026. The TIGIE tax codes for the products involved are 7213.10.01, 7213.20.91, 7213.91.03, 7213.99.99, 7227.10.01, 7227.20.01, and 7227.90.99. The current anti-dumping duty remained in effect during the investigation of the case. The announcement takes effect the day after it is issued.
