Tavistock Investments Buys Majority Stake in UK's Plus Group

03:50 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tavistock Investments (TAVI.L) purchased an 87.9% stake in artificial intelligence agent technology and paraplanning services company Plus Group of Companies. The British investor will pay 900,000 pounds sterling in cash initially and an additional 3.6 million pounds over the next 18 months, according to a Tuesday release. The deal also includes deferred consideration of up to 11.5 million pounds based on certain performance objectives. The acquisition is part of Tavistock's strategy to establish a technology-enabled financial services group and rebrand itself to Vertex Group.
