On July 27, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the 1903/QD-BCT Notice stating that in response to an application from Vietnamese producers, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated against prestressed steel originating in China. The dumping investigation period in this case was from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, and the damage investigation period was from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2026. The product involved was a silicon-manganese alloy steel, in the shape of a bar, wire or coil, with a round cross section, uncoated, or coated with metal; the surface was smooth or had spiral ribs distributed along the length, with a diameter of 7.1 mm to 12.6 mm. The notice is effective from the date it is issued.
