The Zhitong Finance App learned that the Minister of Land and Natural Resources of Ghana, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, led a delegation to visit Hong Kong to conduct a commercial and trade inspection with the aim of deepening bilateral cooperation between Ghana and Hong Kong in the fields of financial services, gold industry chain development and resource development, responding positively to the “Belt and Road” initiative to achieve high quality, mutual benefit and win-win situation. Chairman Cheung Tak-hee of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange said that the Hong Kong Gold Exchange and the Ghanaian delegation have reached a high level of agreement. The two sides will work to promote all-round connections in the gold market and look forward to jointly building a seamless, efficient and trustworthy “gold corridor” to create sustainable commercial value for gold producers, refiners, traders and investors in the two regions, and further strengthen Hong Kong's position as an international gold trading center.
