The Australian Women's Basketball League Geelong Venom team announced on the 28th that Chinese players Han Xu and Zhang Wanglai will join the team and compete in the 2026-2027 season. Both have signed one-year contracts with Geelong Venom, and the relevant contracts are yet to be approved by the league. In addition to Yang Shuyu joining the Sydney Flames and Wang Siyu joining the Melbourne Southern Flyers, as previously announced, at least 4 Chinese players will appear in the WNBL competition in the new season.
