On July 28, there was a resurgence of the theft of optical modules for overseas logistics from Dongshan Precision. There are reports that an 800G high-speed optical module labeled the Solus brand was found on the second-hand trading platform Xianyu at a price of 950 yuan. Sina Technology searched for the keyword “Solsiguang module” on the Xianyu platform and found no 800G high-speed optical module products of this brand on sale. Sina Technology discovered on the Xianyu platform that currently several sellers are selling Solus 1.25G single-mode dual-fiber modules and 10G single-mode optical modules, with unit prices ranging from 5 yuan, 6 yuan, and 19 yuan. Most of the sellers said that the price is already very favorable and cannot be bargained. Some sellers claim that the optical modules on sale are used, while another seller said that the optical modules are brand new and unused. Earlier, a netizen posted a post saying that a “new Solus SOURCE 800G OSFP FR4 optical module” product is on the shelves on the Xianyu platform. The list price is 950 yuan per unit, and the seller's IP is Hong Kong. The product details page states that it is an original product. Judging from the product model and brand logo, this optical module is the main computing power optical module product that Solse Optoelectronics specializes in and is on the overseas stolen list. In early July, there was a market rumor that Solse Optoelectronics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongshan Precision, was stolen in overseas warehousing and cross-border transportation links in June, and a batch of finished and semi-finished products of DML optical chips and 800G OSFP FR4 optical modules was stolen. The net transmission value was as high as 27 million US dollars based on the terminal sales price, equivalent to nearly RMB 200 million.
