The reporter learned from Xiong'an New Area today that the “Artificial Intelligence Big Model IPv6 Capability Enhancement Project” was jointly launched by the Central Internet Information Office and the Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Shenzhen Internet Information Office together with five leading large model companies in Xiong'an New Area to promote the application of generative big models, fully support IPv6, and establish a strong network foundation for the intelligent era. Currently, various applications based on the big model of artificial intelligence are booming, and token traffic is showing an explosive growth trend, putting forward new requirements for network carrying capacity. With its massive address space, efficient routing mechanisms, and endogenous security capabilities, IPv6 has become a key foundation supporting large-scale applications. This one-year campaign will focus on enhancing large-scale application capabilities of large model IPv6, improving large-scale IPv6 management standards, raising the level of IPv6 support for large model infrastructure, promoting the IPv6 release and drainage of large model applications, increasing the proportion of IPv6 access calls from large model APIs, promoting integration and innovation between big model and IPv6, and promoting the evolution of the Internet to native intelligence. Today, the IPv6 single-stack deployment operation in Xiong'an New Area was also officially launched. Xiong'an New Area will comprehensively promote the deployment of single-stack IPv6.
