The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the “Small, Fast and Light” Digital Product and Service Cultivation Guidelines, which are mainly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, digital service providers and local SME authorities. The aim is to guide service providers to closely focus on the digital transformation needs of SMEs in terms of innovation, quality improvement, cost reduction, efficiency, green, safety, etc., promote the adaptation of digital products and services between supply and demand, accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs, and provide reference guidelines for local SME authorities to select and cultivate “small, fast and light” digital products and services. The “Guidelines” suggest 15 cultivation directions around the 5 dimensions of “miniaturization,” “speed reduction,” “weight reduction,” “precision,” and “digital intelligence.” In addition to the above direction, “small, quick and accurate” digital products and services should also meet common basic requirements such as safety, stability and reliability, reasonable price and transparency.
