On July 27, local time, Microsoft AI released the first dedicated cybersecurity model, MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, and integrated it into MDASH, a multi-agent vulnerability identification and repair platform. Microsoft said the combination achieved 95.95% results in the CyberGym vulnerability detection benchmark, surpassing the Mythos, Gemini and GPT series models, while reducing costs by about 50% compared to existing MDASH solutions. Microsoft also launched Perception, an intelligent security system to continuously monitor, patch vulnerabilities, and respond to new threats.
