The reporter learned from the Information Office of the Guizhou Zhijin County Government that at around 10:00 on July 26, 2026, dangerous rock collapsed in Ertun Group 1 in Central Village, Machang Town, Zhijin County. Preliminary estimates of the collapse were about 400 m³. Earlier, after joint investigation and judgment by relevant provincial, municipal, and county departments and experts, an emergency evacuation area for this hidden hazard site was designated. All personnel within the relevant area were transferred early and temporary shelters were carried out. It has been verified that there were no casualties at the scene.
