According to Yonhap, quoting the South Korean legal community on July 26, South Korea's Ministry of Justice has officially commissioned the police to intervene in the investigation into the unknown whereabouts of 100 bullets at a prison in Daejeon. In June of this year, during a routine inspection of Daejeon prison, South Korea's Ministry of Justice discovered that the number of bullets registered in the prison's weapons depot was inconsistent with the actual inventory results; about 100 rounds of 9 mm pistol bullets were missing.
