Bluefield Solar Income Fund Shareholders OK Proposed Takeover by Drax Group Unit

11:21 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bluefield Solar Income Fund (BSIF.L), or BSIF, said Friday all resolutions related to its proposed all-cash acquisition by power generator Drax Group's (DRX.L) subsidiary Drax Smart Generation Holdco were passed by shareholders. The court and general meetings were held earlier on the same day. The scheme of arrangement is expected to take effect on July 31 once the remaining conditions are fulfilled or waived, including a court sanction. At the same time, the renewable assets investor's shares on the London stock exchange's main market will be suspended, with its cancellation expected to follow shortly after. The deal was announced in June.
