From July 22 to 23, 2026, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu was invited to visit the US to hold discussions with US Deputy Secretary of State Lando, meet with White House National Security Council Senior Director for Asian Affairs Kanapati and Deputy Secretary of Defense Colby. They exchanged views with members of the Senate and House of Representatives to have an in-depth exchange of views on implementing the important consensus of the heads of state of China and the US and promoting the establishment of a constructive strategic and stable relationship between China and the US.
