This figure accounts for 1.59% of the average daily trading volume of the benchmark Kospi market, while the average daily trading volume of the Korean stock market during the above period was 37.6 trillion won. Since this year, the cryptocurrency market's share of the Kospi market has been declining, from 11.29% in January to around 6% in March and April to around 2% in May. Regarding the current situation, some market observers pointed out that one of the reasons for the recent decline in cryptocurrency trading volume is Bitcoin price fluctuations and concentrated capital flows to the stock market, which had just experienced a general rise in the semiconductor sector.
