The statement said that any hostile action against Pakistan-flagged ships or infringement on Pakistan's maritime interests will be regarded as a serious threat to Pakistan's national security and sovereign interests. The Palestinian side will reserve the right to take all necessary measures for self-defense in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and international law. Pakistan is deeply concerned about attempts to involve Saudi Arabia in the Middle East war, and the Palestinian side firmly supports Saudi security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. Pakistan insists on easing the regional situation through dialogue and diplomacy, and calls on all parties involved in the Middle East war to abide by international law and ensure the safety of international shipping.
