07:23 AM EDT, 07/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- German prosecutors raided Deutsche Bank's (DBK.F) headquarters in Frankfurt in connection with so-called "cum-cum" transactions by its Postbank unit, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing a person familiar with the matter. The German bank's retail lender executed the dividend arbitrage transactions, in which shareholders transferred shares to foreign investors to avoid dividend tax, before its acquisition by Deutsche Bank in 2010, according to the report. Deutsche Bank did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
