According to the Zhitong Finance App, Wynn Macau (01128) issued an announcement. On July 22, 2026, the Macau Government published the revised and re-listed land grant agreement (revised land grant agreement) accepted by Palo and Wynn Macau to comprehensively revise and replace the existing land grant agreement. The revised land grant agreement allows Palo and Wynn Macau to expand Wynn Palace on Cotai land to develop a new five-star hotel, a theatre and an event and entertainment center (expanded resort). The Macau Government has allocated Palo a maximum period of 60 months from the date the revised land grant agreement was published in the “Macao Special Administrative Region Gazette” to complete the development of the expanded resort in Cotai City.

According to the revised land grant agreement, after accepting the terms of the revised land grant agreement, Palo must pay an additional land premium of MOP 652 million (approximately HK$633 million or US$808.039 million) to the Macau Government as a one-time total payment. This additional land premium is paid in available cash.

According to the revised land grant agreement, Palo is also required to pay an additional annual rent to the Macau Government. The total annual rent for the expanded resort is MOP 9.484 million (approximately HK$9.204 million or US$1.174,400). The Macau Government may review the rent for the expanded resort every five years from the date the revised land grant agreement is published in the “Macao Special Administrative Region Gazette”. Palo is also required to provide additional guarantees to the Macau Government in the form of a deposit or bank guarantee for the amount of rent payable each year under the revised land grant agreement.
