According to reports, the Hong Kong Jockey Club recently submitted an opinion on the first five-year plan for Hong Kong's economic and social development, including making full use of the Jockey Club Conghua Racecourse as a platform for deepening cooperation between Hong Kong and Hong Kong to attract world-class horse racing and horse events to settle in the Greater Bay Area, thus developing the Greater Bay Area into the world's leading hub for horse sports and horse industry. According to the plan, the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government will prepare a construction plan for the “Sui-Hong Kong Horse Industry Deep Cooperation Zone”, speed up the construction of supporting facilities around Conghua Racecourse, give full play to the racecourse's leading driving role, and develop multicultural tourism and leisure content with horses as elements.
