The Ukrainian parliament approved the list of new cabinet members. 264 members of parliament voted in favor of the resignation of the previous cabinet and approved the appointment of new cabinet members. The approved list on the same day did not include the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs; candidates for these two positions will be nominated by the President. Six former cabinet members were able to remain in office, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denis Shmegal, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Tetyana Berezna, Minister of Finance, Sergei Marchenko, and Minister of Health Viktor Liashko. Vsevolod Chentsov, who previously served as Ukraine's representative to the European Union, was appointed Deputy Prime Minister responsible for matters involving Europe.
