Implanet Installs 8i Robotics' Surgical Robot at French Hospital

01:58 AM EDT, 07/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Implanet (ALIMP.PA) said Wednesday that Canadian medical technology company 8i Robotics' multi-arm surgical robot was installed at the Amiens-Picardie University Hospital in Amiens, France. The installation is for a preclinical evaluation aimed at supporting a CE marking for a surgeon-assisted robotic system in spine surgery. It is also part of the clinical and regulatory collaboration between Implanet and 8i Robotics.
