Swedish Bank SEB to Launch SEK1.25 Billion Share Buyback Program

12:41 AM EDT, 07/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB-A.ST) will on Thursday launch a new share buyback program of up to 1.25 billion kronor, according to a Wednesday release. Under the scheme, the Swedish lender is looking to repurchase up to 10% of its total issued share capital. The acquisitions will be carried out until Oct. 20. The new program will follow the completion on Monday of the bank's repurchase of 1.25 billion kronor of its class A shares for capital management purposes. The bank purchased 6,606,166 shares under the completed program.
