Intel Allocates EUR5 Billion for Ireland Manufacturing Site Expansion

08:45 AM EDT, 07/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Intel (INL.F) is investing 5 billion euros to expand its facility in Leixlip, Ireland, to increase manufacturing capacity and advance research and development activities. The chipmaker said Monday the funding will be used to upgrade the fabrication facilities, install manufacturing equipment, and expand the automated track system on the Leixlip campus.
