Galantas Gold Buys $4 Million Crushing Plant for Chilean Project

07:33 AM EDT, 07/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Galantas Gold (GAL.L) agreed to purchase a three-stage crushing plant and related agglomeration equipment in Mexico for $4.2 million to advance its Andacollo gold project in Chile. The UK-listed gold and copper miner will install the crushing plant, which has a nominal throughput capacity of 20,000 tonnes per day, at the Chilean site, according to a Monday filing. Following the binding deal, Galantas expects to start production at Andacollo gold project in the first quarter of 2027.
