Recently, the Ministry of Transport issued “Certain Measures on Promoting the High-Quality Development and Consumption of Night Cruises” to implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to accelerate the cultivation of new growth points for service consumption, promote the high-quality development of night cruises, and stimulate the vitality of the consumer market. In response to the blockages limiting the high-quality development of night cruises, the “Measures” put forward targeted measures and opinions on five areas, including cultivating and expanding the night cruise economy, innovating new consumption scenarios, and guiding local transportation authorities to coordinate development and safety. They include improving infrastructure functions, deepening cultural empowerment and innovation integration, enhancing service quality and brand influence, strengthening policy support and guidance, and strengthening safety and emergency protection.
