Zhaoke Ophthalmology-B (06622) enters into a final agreement to acquire global rights to NVK002 (atropine sulphate eye drops)

Zhitong Finance App News, Zhaoke Ophthalmology-B (06622) announced that on June 22, 2026, the company has acquired the global rights to NVK002 (atropine sulfate eye drops). NVK002 is a product designed to slow the deepening of myopia in children.

Under the terms of the agreement, the company will acquire global ownership of all intellectual property rights, trademarks, regulatory archives, clinical data, manufacturing capabilities and other related assets relating to NVK002. The acquisition gives the company full control over the development, manufacture and commercialization of the product worldwide. The agreement replaces the company's current licensing arrangements, integrates the company's various rights, and helps implement the globalization strategy efficiently.

As part of the deal, the company has granted the seller of NVK002 a permanent, royalty-free, exclusive license, which has been ceded to Nevakar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nevakar) to develop and commercialize NVK002 in the US.

Nevakar will assist in completing the transition period and continue to be a strategic partner in the US market. The agreement also includes standard provisions on non-competition obligations, regulatory cooperation and indemnity to ensure continued operation and asset value protection.
