MPC Energy Solutions Nears Completion on Sale of Solar Plant in Guatemala

01:29 AM EDT, 07/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- MPC Energy Solutions (MPCES.OL) said Monday it expects to complete the divestment of the San Patricio solar photovoltaic plant in Guatemala by the end of July. The renewable energy developer said the project has begun operations, satisfying a condition for the sale, and that it is working with the buyer to finalize documentation and meet the remaining closing conditions. The 66.1-megawatt-peak plant has also started supplying electricity to IMSA Group under a power purchase agreement following the completion of testing.
