TSMC will establish two additional advanced chip packaging plants in the Chiayi Science Park. TSMC's first advanced chip packaging plant in Chiayi Science Park has been put into mass production, and the second plant is expected to begin mass production soon. Once all four plants are put into operation, the park is expected to generate an annual output value of over NT$300 billion and create more than 9,000 jobs.
