The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing today released the China Logistics Industry Sentiment Index for June. The index continued to accelerate in the expansion range, showing a good trend of balanced recovery across regions. China's logistics industry sentiment index in June was 50.6%, up 0.3 percentage points from the previous month. Looking at the sub-indices, out of 12 sub-indices, 9 are in the expansion range. Among them, the Total Business Volume Index and the New Orders Index both rebounded sequentially for many months. In June, the total business volume index was 50.6%, up 0.3 percentage points from the previous month; the new orders index was 50.3%, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. Logistics demand in the manufacturing industry is progressing steadily, and electronic mechanical equipment manufacturing, communication equipment manufacturing, transportation equipment manufacturing, and energy-saving home appliance manufacturing are picking up well. Consumer logistics demand is stable, and holiday consumption is driving a recovery in commercial wholesale, retail chains, and some supermarket businesses.
