The US Central Command issued a statement on social media platforms today saying that Iran has fired several ballistic missiles at neighboring countries in the region. Among them, two missiles aimed at Kuwait fell or disintegrated on the way, and three missiles aimed at Bahrain were intercepted by the US military and the Bahraini Air Defense Force. Allegedly, earlier, the US military also shot down three attack drones launched by Iran “targeting normal navigation civilian ships.” The US military then carried out a so-called “self-defense attack” on Iran's military ground control station located on Iran's Qeshm Island. The statement said there were no US military casualties during this operation. While the current cease-fire continues, the US military will continue to maintain a high level of vigilance.
