The Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Finance recently issued a notice clarifying that when disease prevention and control agencies at all levels and vaccination units commissioned by them provide non-immunization vaccination services, in addition to charging the vaccine fee, they can charge the recipient or their guardians for vaccination services. The fee is 23 yuan/dose. The vaccination service fee includes registration, pre-screening, vaccination, observation, vaccination supplies, etc. for non-immunization plan vaccines. Vaccination service fees are administrative charges. The full amount is paid to the national treasury, included in the general public budget, and “two lines of income and expenditure” management is implemented. The notice takes effect from the date of publication and is valid for two years.
