Biotech Company Circio Raises NOK250 Million from Share Sale, Launches Follow-on Offering

12:03 AM EDT, 04/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Circio (CRNA.OL) disclosed on Wednesday that it raised 250 million Norwegian kroner from its offering of 23,148,148 shares at 10.80 kroner apiece. The biotechnology company offered the shares to potential new investors, with settlement expected by Friday. Meanwhile, the company also launched on Wednesday an offering of up to 7,638,888 new shares to existing shareholders at the same offer price, seeking to raise an additional 82.5 million kroner in proceeds. The subsequent offering is open to shareholders on record as of Thursday. Circio earmarked the net proceeds from the share sale for the expansion of clinical research and development activities related to its novel circular RNA expression technology for gene and cell therapy. The company added that the fresh capital will also extend its cash runway through 2030. Pareto Securities served as the bookrunner of the offering.
